It’s a new year, which means new trends in the wedding world. Here is what I have been seeing a lot of and think that they will be HUGE trends this year, and even into 2025!
Bows
I am so happy that bows are coming back in style! When I was in college, bows were all the rage. I had a huge assortment of bows in all kinds of colors, textures, and fabrics. Bows are so classy, feminine and romantic. I am thrilled they are being incorporated in wedding dresses, hair, shoes, etc. Give me all the bows!
Updo Hairstyles
This year we are already starting to see a lot more updos than previous years. Whether it’s a classic low bun, a high bun or a Kim K updo, they’re all the rage right now.
Matte Eyes
Shimmer is out this year, matte is officially back! I feel like matte eyes have had a bad rep, but a beautiful matte look can be so soft, romantic and timeless. Using a lighter or cream colored matte shadow on the lid and towards the inner corner of the eye will brighten and give the eyes a softer and bigger appearance without the use of shimmer shadow. I am all for a matte look!
Softer Lips
The “your lips but better” look is in and over lined, bold lips are out! More and more brides are going for a gorgeous, soft and subtle lip shade that enhances their natural color without a harsh liner. We are also seeing a lot of looks that show a natural liner with a touch of gloss. A glossy lip is always so flattering!
