With engagement season in full force and wedding planning is underway, here are some helpful tips on figuring out exactly how to communicate your beauty vision to your glam team.
- Have inspirations photos ready- they will help both you and your makeup artist/hair stylist determine the look you want. With that being said, be realistic with photos. Most of the photos you’ll find on Pinterest are photoshopped to oblivion, so it’s best to choose from looks that your makeup artist has in their portfolio!
- If you don’t like the look your makeup artist/hair stylist did for your bridal trial, SPEAK UP! I promise we won’t get offended! We want you to absolutely love your look. This is why trials are so important!
- Speaking of trials, don’t rush it and don’t let your makeup artist rush it either. This is the time to make all the changes needed and discuss your perfect look in detail.
- Remember- we are not magicians! Please don’t ask us to get rid of wrinkles, expression lines or stress breakouts. We can conceal them as best as we can, but can’t get rid of them. If this is something you’re concerned about, make sure you’re getting your monthly facials leading up to the wedding for your most gorgeous skin ever!
